La Mairie
Day three, what a streak!
Today, I continued to fail in my attempts to open a bank account, but I was successful in receiving my passe Navigo, so now I have travel around all of Île-de-France subsidised by my employer. I just pay 37 € per month and I can travel as much as I like. I also never have to faff about with the RATP tickets again.
I took this photo on my way back from the station when I collected my pass in the evening. I'd tried to get some good photos of la mairie on my lunch, and one came out okay. Against the winter lights, though, daytime couldn't compete. I had another photograph similar to this one but focussing on a green man crossing. I'd have preferred that, but since the green man is higher than the red light — about 2m from the ground — I couldn't get the narrow focus which gives this photograph such depth.
