2019 and 2020 Temperature Blankets

Today’s picture is, on the left, my 2019 temperature blanket with, for comparison, the 2020 blanket on the right.

2020 was clearly warmer than 2019 and 2019 started off very much colder than 2020. The warmer days started earlier in 2020 and finished later in 2020. However, there was more orange in 2019 which means the corresponding days were hotter than 2020. The same colours and temperature bands were used for both blankets. Looking at the temperatures for 2021 I can see that already the start of the year has been colder than either of the previous two years.

The temperature today was one degree Celsius at GMT noon.
