Another tree surgeon for the series

They did send around a letter to tell us they were taking down the apple tree. Very surprised how emotional I feel seeing that 150 year old tree felled. The boys said they find it particularly hard when it's an old, healthy tree but this one has infiltrated the foundation of the house adjacent to it. They were three stories high this morning. The first half crashed down with an incredible roar.

I brought them all tea to warm up.
