Familiar

Another weekend at Loch Tay, wonderful weather, great company and a big pile of haggis for tea.
It was a (month-late) Burns Nicht in the evening, with Colin the star turn, as ever. Bob introduced several visiting young ladies to the delights of the Strip the Willow, and Dennis had written a fine poem for the Immortal Memory.Much dancin' and singin' far into the night :) The piper was Jan, from Antwerp originally, the first time we'd met but amazingly he had seen Meles play a gig in Kathmandu 28 years ago.

Earlier in the day we had walked into Killin. I had mentioned that I had seen squirrels on the path, last time, but we didn't see any on the way down. Just as we were setting back, M said something about the squirrels had better show up now. At that moment this lad ( Sciurius vulgaris) dashed from one side of the road to the other in the trees above our heads. M is obviously a witch, and will probably be tied to a stake, one day...
