On my shelf

I didn't put a foot outside the door yesterday, not even for the "allowed" exercise. Spent some time with my Spanish app, a language I have been grappling with for more years than I can remember. I am still at the stage where Spanish speakers respond with a benign smile, and break into perfect English when I attempt to open any conversation. Still, it looks as though I will have a while longer before I will be travelling again so, who knows, by then, I may well be fluent. Had to rely on an indoor shot. This is on my shelf in the bathroom. I liked the contrast between the stereotype of a 50s beauty and my book on powerful women.
