In response to the mono Monday challenge set by Picturemull.
I've had this horseshoe for about 20 odd years. I had gone to visit our friends in Bicester, who have horses, and go out with them for a hack. As I was changing into boots, I put my foot down and trod on the nail which was sticking out of the shoe. Luckily for me I was up to date with my tetanus jabs.
