Twisted Tree

I spent most of this morning's golf round getting close up views of trees (or hedges or ditches) whilst trying to find the ball, or in some cases, balls that I had sprayed in their direction. One of my playing partner's commented that his problem was that he was standing too close to the ball - after he'd hit it! I pointed out that at least he could still see his ball.

This fine specimen isn't actually on the course; I stopped at Combe Hill Wood on the way back for a blip stroll in an attempt to loosen up those stiffened muscles. It does, however, illustrate the twists, turns and spirals that far too many of my shots took today

Bread update: although small (and perfectly formed), yesterday's bread tastes alright!
