Good intentions...

Good intentions to work on the hall evaporated when we looked outside and saw the blue sky! Instead, we walked around Humbleton and on to St Cuthbert's Way, a walk we've done several times recently, and one that never fails to delight. Quite a lot of snow on the moors, deep and crisp (but certainly not even) in places. Monday Cleugh (extra), where we walked at the end of December, seemed quite moody in the snow. Looking down from the moors, and to the east, a completely different picture (extra) - lots of water on the Glendale flood plain and, in the distance, the sea.

No idea what the hill in the Blip is called - must get round to looking it up on the map. I admire it every time we're on this path...
PS It's White Law!
