Goodbye Wallis

Mr S drove all the way down to pick us up, which was much appreciated by my daughter, her friend and myself. He was there by 9am, and after a cup of tea, we loaded the car and were soon on the way. There was some new snow on the road and it was slippery in places. It’s a lovely drive up through beautiful Oberwallis villages, with so many ancient wooden chalets, but with little chance to stop and take photos! This was the only blip of the day, as we were waiting to get on the car train through the Furka tunnel.
