Pen-sive

First thing this morning, my friendly computer told me that an update to Java 7 was ready to be installed. Ok, sez me, go ahead.
Three hours later, I was still trying to get other programs to open that were working flawlessly beforehand. System restore didn't fix it, downloading and installing new copies of various software didn't fix. I wonder what will.
Aren't computers effin wonderful?

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
