Found in Woodland

Mossy elbow, mossy hand
of woody arm on leafy land.

Tree sprites dance where fairies fled
from sylvan giant, now long dead.

Through the moss, you never know,
the arm might grab the chance to grow:

Another tree, a green expanse
for future spritely elfin dance.

Now that the snow is melting, fields and some roads are flooded, so we wore wellies on our walk today. Lots of puddles for little Miss B to splash through: she loves it as much as her mum did at the same age.
