Gasterse duinen

A walk with the four of us in Drenthe, at the Gasterse duinen, started our Saturday. It was cold but very nice to be outside for a while.
We walked a short route of 5 kilometers. Besides the heather fields we also saw the river Oudemolensche diep overflowing its banks (there's one in the extra section). A beautiful, but very wet part of the route. Annemarie and I were wearing our hiking boots, no problem, but Bas and Daan weren't. They sometimes had to make complicated jumps and moves to keep their feet dry.

On our way back we drove via Groningen city. I detoured a bit through the city. We hadn't been there for so long. It was nice to be back, although we didn't leave the car. We now know Groningen is still there.
