Heber's Ghyll

The forecast snow duly arrived. Lots of it. A few degrees colder would have made it perfect but it doesn't feel right to complain. The fine snow turned to sleet and then light rain during the afternoon as the slow thaw began, accompanied by big clumps of snow falling out of the trees and done the back of the neck. It's going to all be a slushy mess tomorrow - the price of a few hours of magic.
