My Doc's

I bought this pair of Doc Marten boots before my oldest daughter was born. They were intended as my after-ski boots for my first ski vacation to Colorado. She is 22.

They were not very comfortable at first, but have worn better than any footwear I have ever owned. My daughters grandchildren will probably fight over them when I die.

Today, I had the pleasure of listening to my daughter, Nola Wren, have one of her songs played on the radio in the United Kingdom. It just so happens that the DJ of the radio show wears Doc Marten's, and a Tweet from one of his listeners prompted me to take this photo and send it in via Twitter..

Well, Doc Marten mayhem ensued, and it appears that some pretty nice people share my love for these amazing boots.

One pair will last you a lifetime!
