Fourth and Final Iconic Shot

Skijoring in Yosemite. And, no, we didn't do it

This photo is part of a large display of snow sport history in one of the rooms of the rustic and elegant Ahwahnee Hotel in the park. I was so charmed by the image, particularly because my father had a white wool cap like the one the skier is wearing. It was so old-fashioned and nostalgic, and I had absolutely no idea that this sport is very contemporary. Horses or dogs, doesn't matter, just an animal who loves to run.
