Struggling to survive

Not sure whether it was psychosomatic, but I felt a little off colour today, following my vaccination yesterday. I even had a sleep after lunch, something I never do.  Anyway, that was all the excuse I needed to stay indoors today.  

Had a FaceTime with the three and 8 year old granddaughters this morning.  I am longing to be able to give them a cuddle, and take them back on our outings to the beach or National Trust properties.  

I did wander around the garden to see if I could see something to blip today, and spotted the little pansy struggling to survive despite the frost.  Seemed like a great metaphor.
