Not so Rampant Lion

Oddity this. Across the road from the front of the Parliament lies Holyroodhouse within which there is now a Gallery and the obligatory gift shop. For some weeks now I've been sitting at Group Meetings looking at this depiction of the Lion over the door to the Gallery & itching to photograph it. I know this isn't a particularly good pic. The limitations of the iPhone mean I can't get the detail I'd like but I'm too impatient to wait till I have a new camera. I'm sure I'll be coming back to it.

The Lion looks more like a gargoyle here.
