Home from home in Philadelphia

I left my Welsh home at 1pm on Wednesday and after a night in London reached my American home on Thursday evening. No, this isn't it, just an example of run-down housing in an urban wasteland poised between demolition and gentrification. These two old houses, standing shoulder to shoulder, are the sole survivors of their extinct row, but still with fancy cornices and ornamental minarets on the roof edges that hint at a prouder past.

We did some shopping and I've cooked bluefish for supper; I've re-acquainted myself with the house cats and now it appears to be 3am Fishguard time and I must get some sleep.
