Old faithful

I have spent a considerable amount of time over the past few days doing sums, or rather my newly created spreadsheets have been doing them for me. As much as I enjoy building and using spreadsheets I still find myself reaching occasionally for my old faithful calculator. (My father would be horrified. He expected me to do it all in my head!)

I have had this calculator for over 30 years. It operates on a very small solar panel. It has NEVER not worked. Even if left for weeks in a dark office while we are away it just starts working as soon as I need it. It has travelled with me from job to job and home to home. It is an old friend.
