Private land - No Public Right of Way

A footpath comes from off right and continues behind me: but ahead my way is barred with a warning sign. I have seen a number of these red plastic barriers in farmland whilst out walking on public footpaths. I think that farmers have become paranoid that people will start roaming over their land either because they're new to the countryside and think they can go wherever they want, or simply they'll wander off in other directions on finding that the regular footpaths are too muddy. It's of course the restrictions of C-19 that are bringing people out walking in greater numbers than ever before.
