Easy Peasie Proof

Spring is definitely on its way.
The Peasies (Peewits/Lapwings) have been here for a few days.
I love watching their aerial acrobatics and listening to their call.
Closing my eyes and listening to the calls of the Peasies, the Whaups (Curlew), and the Oystercatchers (I don't know of any Scots name for these stunning, but noisy, bird), I can almost imagine I'm standing on the machair in South Uist, which is where I'd love to be...
As an aside, whilst I dream of a Hebridean escape, in Gaelic, the Oystercatcher is known as the  Gille-brìghde, the "Servant of Bride" - very descriptive.
