The Stadthaus in Greifswald’s main square does look rather splendid after dark.

But it’s more than just a pretty facade. In the day, this is where a good amount of the town’s current civic services and planning of its future direction takes place.

Just across the market place is a town plan of different kind. The thee dimensional model of the old town, cast in iron, is a real help with more immediate directions.
