big plans this weekend, just like every single one it seems. i live for the weekend these days - don't get me wrong, i get plenty done during the week and enjoy many things about both work and school. but weekend is mostly (err, well, over 50%) down time and doing what i want. and that's the way i like it.

man, i could write a lot in this entry - where to start? i haven't worked out my summer plans yet but applications are out at many places and i'm hoping it'll all pan out how i'd like. my job, where i've been working since september, offered me an official salaried appointment for the fall with tuition remission (very good news). i've been considering getting a dual master in the community and regional planning program, concentrating on sustainable development. and my life otherwise is so good, i can't complain.

we're eagerly counting down the days (one week!) until fort worth next weekend and couldn't be more excited about seeing all the fort worth friends, and especially celebrating brian and leah's wedding. and then keith is meeting the family on sunday - should be fun, no doubt.

today we ran some errands, getting ready for spring planting at fig tree house. lots of seeds, potting soil, etc. hoping to work on it tomorrow morning before heading out to the kite festival afterward.

life is busy, so busy, but things are so good. school is halfway over. weather's good. things are rolling along.

and we're headed down to rainey tonight to check out the new craft beer bar there - craft pride. 54 taps, all texas beers.
