A bike ride planned...

...but the weather today deteriorated by the hour, until we're expecting snow later...
Our outing instead was to the Pothouse Hamlet to get yet more bird food - I drove again, just to keep my hand in ;) 

My offering for Abstract Thursday is based on a shot of a Chelsea bug hotel for sale in the garden centre.
We also looked for a rambling rose to fill the gap in the trellis at the bottom of the garden where a clematis has died, but they only had one variety in stock so we left it for now. We might try to find another Rambling Rector, as they seem to grow and spread very quickly.
