Parrots 1 Humans 0

Our neighbour has shrouded this apple tree in netting, to deter the parrots. If he hadn’t done so, the apples and a good deal of the surrounding foliage would have been stripped by now.
 
The only thing is, you can’t really enjoy the apples, either to eat them or even just to look at them! The parrots win again.
