A ton of rain in the night and pretty relentless today with gales now forecast! My daffs are flattened.

I've been mostly glued to the computer working on the book but we did have a windswept yomp round the circuit minor. A bit of cooking too - I made some banana and apple muffins which are okay bit not hugely thrilling, and Himself made some naan bread which we have just consumed with a curry, also made by him - very good.

A quick trip out to the polytunnel to hang out the washing and a high viewpoint took my eye - goodness knows how long these leaves have been stuck there but I quite liked them. Strange the things that appeal.
