Who needs thumbs?

Someone has been busy opening kitchen cabinets...I'll let her cook supper.

Yesterday, we went on an evening Walking Tour in the center of town with a group from the Hanover Historical Society. Through grant money and now a few salaried months we have had the gifted expertise of a really talented young woman. She's been at the helm for the last year as Executive Director along with very active volunteer members. It was a fun evening and there were lots of interesting tales even for me, one steeped in the history of the town. We ended the evening with a little reception in the old barn at the historical house to celebrate the 85th birthday of the Society.


For the Record.
This day came in with clouds, a brief period of sun and then gray. T got lots of sticks and limbs piled up to burn next weekend, what a mess from the blizzard we had.
