over to North Esk Reservoir

Another Friday, and yet another wonderful afternoon's walking across the Pentlands :-)

... we went over to North Esk Reservoir (see 1st extra); initially passing through the village of Carlops (see 2nd extra for the impressive approach path); and we even found a large well (see 3rd extra) at the edge of the village :-)

The main snap above shows the view as we descended back down towards the hamlet of Nine Mile Burn - sunshine, dramatic clouds, sheep, and even (a little bit of) snow throughout the walk!
