Denaturation

We've been set the task in my poetry group to select an image and write about one detail which captures our attention.

I have chosen on my favourite paintings- An old woman frying eggs by Velazquez and on particular how he has capture the moment when the eggs solidify. 

The painting can be found in the National Gallery on the Mound- I would often  pop in when passing just to look at it. 

Such times seem a long time ago !
