Patience may be needed

My surgeon says I need longer off my foot - I see him again in TEN days- meanwhile I have to put it up , so I must be patient. On the bright side, my foot is beautifully straight at last.
These anemones are looking sublime- at their fullest, ripest and most beautiful. The sun has created lovely delicate shadows of the stamens.
