As it is Paddy's Day - some oldies my mum shared with me this morning.

The two ladies on the right were my mum's aunties - Pat and Theresa.

Uncle Paddy is the man (you can't make this stuff up) and the frowning lady on the bottom left is my mum's grandmother - renowned for being tricky and famous for knitting things too small!

"It'll be grand when you pull it," being her mantra.

All the while seemingly oblivious to the practical benefits of knitting things you could grow in to...

All gone now of course.
May they rest in peace.
