Wild plum?

S and B both had online interviews this morning so I went out and left them to it. Surprisingly warm outside and many more leaves starting to appear. I noticed these buds on a bush near the beck. I think that they are wild plum (Prunus domestica) but I'm not sure. Feel free to correct me. There was plenty of blackthorn blossoming nearby which looked quite different. Anyway I liked the contrasting colours in the tightly closed buds. I shall check them again and see how they develop.
