Hummingbird Chick Close-up

The chicks are beginning to make their little nest stretch as they grow.
As I try to imagine their adult gem like form, I am struck by their present "dinosaur baby" appearance.
The morphing of their beaks is another fascination for me at beginning of the elongation into its needle-like adult form.
It's all quite magic!
