Old Post Office

This is now part of the Court House complex of buildings in our nearby town of Ballina. It was built as the town post office in the late 1880s. Its style is described as late Victorian Italianate. The architect was Walter Liberty Vernon, who later became NSW Government Architect. He designed many significant buildings in Sydney and throughout the State.
