Cuttings

Last summer I took cuttings from a neighbour's hydrangea. Actually it was at the house where my neighbour's parents-in-law used to stay. The house has been sold but the new owners were changing the garden and asked if my neighbour (Christine) wanted any plants for sentimental reasons. The hydrangea was too big to dig up so we took loads of cuttings. Most of mine rooted over the winter and today I potted them up. Christine's didn't survive so I'm glad I've some to give her. She can have the hydrangea in her garden as a reminder of happy times gone by.
