Among other places, I visited Chalkwell Beach today and had this lady ask me if I was a “fossil”, which was weird. It turns out the “Fossil Skaters” are a group of not so young people who skate along the seafront promenade as their skating rink has closed due to Covid. I can attest that all abilities take part! I’ve included the extra as a possible “Wear and Tear” candidate. I like the idea but think the execution could be better, although finding suitable subjects is tricky.
