Nuthatch

I baked my sourdough bread this morning. I different recipe than my usual but it's turned out well.
As my new trainers turned up yesterday I went for a gentle jog in the park to see if they improved my back problem. Nope. Although the ache was lower right this time instead of its usual lower left. 
I went back into the park after a stretch. It was unpromising as it's overcast and quite dark but I stopped and chatted with Charlie Dog and his dad, John, for a while which was nice. 
Then my walk exceeded all my expectations as I spotted the nuthatches (not seen since last summertime), and my first ever coal tit (see extra).

My niece is doing ok at home after surgery. She's in pain but at least the procedure was successful.
