A Clean Sweep

Unfortunately, a nesting Jackdaw lost its balance and fell down our chimney.   Although a lot of debris and dirt came down the bird managed to stay towards the top so we decided to call in a Chimney Sweep who came along, checked up the chimney with his camera and said he couldn't see anything but perhaps it would be best to clean the chimney anyway.   This he did but we never saw the bird in question.
