Blip Project Day 5 - 335 to 437

Well an obvious theme for today was Easter.  That was pretty hard.  You will notice a lot of eggs and Easter related images.  There's a fair few fillers there but still managed my quota for today.

I'm not a religious person but I do believe it has it's place on earth in it's various flavours.  It has some ugly sides but then there is also a lot of related good to balance that off.  More than that however, it fascinates me as part of the human machine and what makes humans human, with a capacity for thought, tradition and questioning ones existence.  The fact that we are the only organisms that we know of on the planet that can think in this way is truly mind boggling.

What does scare me is the detachment Easter gets from it's origins by commercialisation.  The pursuit of selling chocolate eggs seems to have taken Easter quite far from what it is all meant to represent.

That said, we picked up the last box of eggs from the Co-Op there.  I like to think there's a lot of kids in this town painting eggs for rolling down hills.
