Grape hyacinths

It's great to see the grape hyacinths in the flower bed outside my bedroom window.

I wasn't long in the garden today. I refilled the water butt, watered some plants, and took this photograph. Instead, most of the day Mr hazelh and I have been stuck in the study: I finished the project report, then gave some more feedback on the draft PhD thesis due for submission by next Thursday; he has been programming. We were quite content. I do wonder if we are just a couple of geeks?

Meanwhile in Northumberland, Mummy hazelh has had her second dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
