Squinty Bridge

I had to come into Glasgow early this morning. As it was such a beautiful day I popped down to the Clyde to take a few shots of the Clyde Arc Bridge (Squinty Bridge). I love the reflections in the water.

This iconic structure which opened in 2006 provides the first new traffic link over the river for more than 30 years. The 140m-span structure also features pedestrian and cycle paths and has the capability to cope with the addition of a tram system in the future.

Tonight I was fortunate to attend the Glasgow Service with Style Masterclass with Fred Sirieix. Fred is the General Manager at Galvin at Windows, the Michelin-starred restaurant on the 28th floor of the London Hilton on Park Lane. Fred co-hosted with Michel Roux jnr in the BBC2 series about service and hospitality, "Michel Roux's Service". Fred and Galvin at Windows also appeared in The Apprentice on BBC1 in spring 2012., from Galvin at Windows. What a great evening and a fabulous insight into the service industry.
