Container Ship

Lately, we have been noticing large ships off the coast. This one belongs to the Mediterranean Shipping Company. Some of their ships have a capacity of 18,400 TEUs, where a TEU is a standard twenty feet long by eight feet wide. Some of these ships, like the one recently grounded in the Suez Canal, are almost a quarter-mile long.
