There be Swallows

in that there sky.       (I can't see them either)

And loads of sand martins swooping about down by the river.

I have a text thread with a friend, going back ten years, which consists of a competition to spot the first swallow.

He always wins it, except for 2019 when I saw them on Ardnamurchan on 13th April.  This year it was my turn again.

Over the ten years, the earliest they've been seen here was the 3rd April  2014.   All these dates are scientifically verified and corroborated. By us.
