Fishing Paraphernalia on the Pier

One of the piers at the harbour here is used to store nets, creels, lines etc. The fishermen have easy access to their stuff that way.

We had our usual great walk in the wood this morning. It was very windy but it’s pretty sheltered in the wood. We saw more orange ladybirds and more snails now we know where to look for them.
Home again to set about changing the sitting room for the summer months. I swapped the curtains, throws and cushion covers from the warm colours I like in the winter to much lighter colours. It’s good to have a change.
Then, while Geordie was sleeping I took the chance to meditate for a while. After that it was so bright out (although very cold) we set out for another walk just around the town. We met a couple of friends for wee chats, then checked out the bathing pool to see if the workmen were nearly finished. It looks like they’ve done all that was due to be done at the moment, so I imagine the local wild swimmers will be back in there within days.
