The accidental finding

Tiny Tulips

This morning vanished. Where do they even go? I arranged for us to go to Lechlade-on-Thames next week to buy some second-hand card stalls for our market stalls. Then I had to rearrange the rest of the week: still, it's good to be busier!

In the afternoon I decided to clock up some steps by going to town. Being unsure of the weather, I put on sunglasses, woolly gloves, and a winter jacket. Within minutes, the light drizzle turned to stinging hail. I did some shopping and returned home without bumping into a single soul. The good news is that the non essential shops are definitely getting ready for opening up on Monday, and there are some new ones in the Merrywalks/Five Valleys shopping centre, including a posh department store. Hard to imagine in Stroud, but it's almost there.

Back home, we sat down to watch the Grand National. History has been made: a female jockey, Rachel Blackmore, has ridden to victory for the first time! Of course, it's a very dangerous racecourse, where horses die, AND the event was sponsored by Randox health, the same Randox of the governnent-awared contact for CoVid tests that turned out be total rubbish!! Why couldn't it have been sponsored by Radox: aromatherapy for horses?
