A day out

Instead of going to Windsor by train as we normally do we decided to take the bus which was free with our pensioner bus pass . It was a bus to Staines or walk and then a us from there which only took 3/4 of an hour.
We were surprised how devoid of people it was both in the town snd by the river snd in Eton. Even the shops were not really busy. Bought sandwiches in M&S and sat on a bench to eat them before getting the bus home. The worst part of the journey was the bus from Staines to Ashford which was standing room only. These buses say only 14 people will be allowed but he picked up everyone.
