The Ulkerup Souls

Helle and I had a fabulous day out with the dogs.

We started with 2½ hours in the training hall and then we went to Holbæk and had lunch. We sat outside and had the dogs with us.

After lunch we continued to Ulkerup, where we found the Ulkerup Souls (the main blip), which are 9 sculptures placed in the woods. According to the legend, the whispering of the Ulkerup Souls can be heard when passing the sculpture group at dusk and in the dark, the Souls become alive to visit their previous homes in the forest… They didn't move much when we visited though. 

We also visited what is left of the Ulkerup Village (where the Ulkerup Souls used to live, before they became ghosts/souls). It was a very interesting area, which I have never visited before. 

We finished with pancakes and ice cream in Vig.
