Festival of Britain !

70 years ago today the Festival began !! ( a hundred years after the Great Exhibition of 1851!)
A Tonic to the Nation.....much needed after the preceding years .
The blip is the London section based on the South Bank ....celebrations and exhibitions took place all over the UK .
It all happened before I was born .... I got interested in the Festival and started collecting souvenirs years ago ...I ll blip some in May !
