There are bins forty metres to the west, twenty metres north across the road and thirty metres east.
It should be easy to put something into a bin. It's probably easier than placing it on a ledge. Then again, it's easy to tie a tie, especially for people who wear them every day. Nevertheless, some people cannot tie a tie without watching themselves in the mirror. Some even need to watch themselves in the mirror whilst fastening their trousers with a belt. This is weirdest when performed in a toilet after using a urinal, for which belt-unfastening is surely unnecessary.
