Abstract Thursday: Twirl Pattern

There's no theme for Ingeborg's AT challenge this week, and it's almost a year since I had a go at John Gravett's "Twirl" technique so I thought I'd give it another "whirl" when I saw the pink cherry blossom in the garden looking lovely against a brief patch of blue sky. This one's come out with a much more delicate effect than my last one, which was maybe a bit "in your face". I tried John's suggestion towards the end of the processing to copy, flip and move half of the pattern to make it symmetrical (as I did last time) but decided that I liked the asymmetrical version better on this occasion.

It looks best large, against black.
